Vocabulary Number 5

 Allude: refer to something the author thinks you should know.
As I'm reading in the text the author gives me clues of how the character is.

 Clairvoyant: able to read minds.
`In my opinion CLAIRVOYANTS only exist in movies.

 Conclusive: final, decisive
My art teacher was CONCLUSIVE about what bowls we had to do for the festival.

 Disreputable: poor reputation
The DISREPUTABLE secretary wasn't able to get a job.

 Endemic: natural to an environment
Leafs are ENDEMIC for the cycle of  life.

 Exemplary: worthy of imitation
The EXEMPLARY act that my math teacher made really did help me understand my homework.

 Fathom: notical measure of death v. to understand
 
 Guile: trick
As the clown left my little sister with her mouth opened with his GUILE.

 Integrity: thought, speech, and action
It is important for people to be aware of their INTEGRITY.

 Itinerary: trip schedule, trip plan
Before going on a family vacation one should always have an ITINERARY.

 Misconstrue: misunderstand, misrepresenting
A MISCONSTRUE action lead to an argument.

 Obnoxious: rude, loud, abrasive,
I hate when I'm talking with my friends and all of the sudden little OBNOXIOUS kids interrupt.

 Placate: calm down
My father would always tell me to PLACATE when i would be fooling around.

 Placid: calm peace full
I love the PLACID nights at the beach.

 Plagiarism: to take someones words and use them as your own.
In school I was always thought that PLAGIARISM is never taking me anywhere good.

 Potent: powerful
When I was a little girl I used to love watching power rangers to me they were very POTENT.

 Pretext: an excuse, to think before you do something
Many times when I do something wrong
 
 Protrude: stick out
The hay stack was PROTRUDE.

 Stark: obvious easy to see
The stain on her shirt was STARK.

 Superficial: shallow surface
The SUPERFICIAL river felt warm enough to swim in.
